All other non prize-winning semi-finalists and finalists shall receive an honorarium of $300.
*May be invited to perform with the Springfield Symphony in the 2010-2011
season.
Audition Repertoire
Each entrant must submit three (3) copies of a CD recording of at least one movement of a major work with orchestral (piano) accompaniment. A major work is defined as one written for orchestral accompaniment. Vocalists should plan a presentation of about 8-10 minutes and may include more than one selection. The movement of the major work recorded on the entrant's CD, or the selections recorded on CD by vocalists, must be as listed in the audition repertoire part of the application. Each soloist must provide his or her own accompanist.
Eligibility Requirements
Must be between 18 and 24 years of age and enrolled in undergraduate or graduate studies. (Exceptions may be made at the discretion of the Hellam Committee).
